Center channel speaker
In the desktop / home theater system, the center channel speaker is mounted in front of the listener (center). This is designed specially to enhance voices and sound effects from a movie soundtrack.

Channel
A channel is the path an audio signal travels through a circuit during playback. At least 2 channels are required for stereo sound.

CMSS (Creative Multi-Speaker Surround)
An EAX technology supported by Sound Blaster audio cards. CMSS upmixes an analog stereo signal to multi-channel surround sound.

Current (I)
The flow of electrical charge that is measured in amperes.
