Compact, lightweight design fits in the palm of a hand.

Creative, a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, announces the TravelSound i80 docking speaker. Designed specifically for the iPod nano* this one-piece speaker, in stylish aluminium, is portable enough to fit in a pocket yet delivers surprisingly powerful, high-quality sound.

The secret behind the outstanding sound quality of the TravelSound i80 is its unique design. With four independent micro drivers and a digital amplifier, it delivers far more volume and clarity than much larger speakers. It also features a rechargeable battery so users can charge it via USB and enjoy up to 15 hours of playback - enough for a full day out and about. The USB connection, compatible with PCs and Macs, also enables users to sync an iPod to iTunes for easy management of playlists, or to transfer video and photos as well as music.

“The Creative TravelSound i80 is the first iPod nano speaker that's as portable as the player,” explains Kristian Gunvald, European Brand Manager with Creative. “People can take it anywhere with their iPod nano and easily share music when they're on the move. The sleek aluminium design, which complements the look of the iPod nano, ensures that the system looks as good as it sounds.”

The Creative TravelSound i80, which is certified by Apple for the Made for iPod Programme, is Creative's second TravelSound designed for iPod users. It complements the TravelSound i50, which was designed for the iPod shuffle and is already available on the market.
