Easily transfer content from different sources to your Creative MediaSource Organizer with the drag & drop feature.

Creative MediaSource is included as a content management tool with the Sound Blaster Audigy and X-Fi audio cards, and with the Creative Zen and MuVo line of digital audio players.

While content can be easily selected and transferred to a playlist from within the Creative MediaSource Organizer, selected content may also be transferred from other sources using the drag & drop method. You may also select tracks from Windows Explorer or directly from your desktop, highlight them and drag them to the applicable window within MediaSource Organizer, then drop them into your playlist, the MediaSource Music Library; or even to a playlist or the Music Library on your Creative Zen digital audio player.

Now, for a more complicated scenario, suppose you want to create a playlist composed of tracks from several different albums. If your music content is stored in an Album Name Folder containing the music tracks or are stored in an Artist => Album => Track order, you can use multiple windows of Windows Explorer to display the content. With all the windows of music content displayed in front of you simultaneously, you will be able to pick and choose tracks at will, and put them into the playlist in the order of your preference using the drag & drop method.

Additionally, you can also jump to other album names in one window while keeping tracks from other albums available for selection while reviewing your repertoire of music content to create that ideal playlist. The drag & drop method provides a simple, but also powerful way of organizing your favorite playlists.
