CA0110 is a PCI Express audio chip using the CA0111 audio mode or High Definition Audio mode. The CA0110 PCI Express audio chip supports the following features.
- PCI specification 2.3 compliant. Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) v1.0 compliance.
- Supports 32-bit PCI addressing.
- Playback of 5 stereo audio channels of sample rate up to 192 kHz 24-bit or 16-bit data, via PCI bus interface.
- HDA mode,
- Supports 3 independent DMA stream for 4 stereo channels, 1 stereo headphone channel and 1 stereo digital channel.
- All 3 DMA stream are independent (sampling rate, bit format) from each other.
- Supports Microsoft 'out-of-the-box' HDA driver
- CA0111 mode
- Same playback mode as original CA0111 playback FIFO design.
- Audio output.
- HDA mode,
- When playing PCM stream through analog out, digital output will listen to the analog stream and playback the same data when digital stream is idle.
- I2S Output supports sampling rate of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz and 192kHz.
- SPDIF Output[0] will play Non-PCM data when digital stream is enable, analog output will not play any Non-PCM stream.
- I2S Output[4] can be of different sample rate from I2S Output[0]-I2S Output[3].
- CA0111 mode
- Same playback mode as original CA0111 playback FIFO design but there is no sample rate converter. Analog and digital output must be of the same sample rate.
- Audio input
- HDA mode
- Supports 3 independent DMA stream for 1x stereo Line In, 1x stereo Mic In and 2x stereo SPDIFIn
- LineIn and MicIn supports sampling rate of 48KHz, 96KHz and 192KHz.
- SPDIFIn supports sampling rate of 44.1Khz, 48KHz and 96KHz.
- All streams can have independent bit resolution and sample rate from each other.
- CA0106 mode
- Same as original CA0111.
- In default, 6 GPO and 10 GPI pins with de-bouncing logic and interrupt capabilities. In addition, there will be 2 GPI_POWER and 4 GPO_POWER with no de-bouncing logic and no interrupt capability.
