CREATIVE INSPIRE 2.1 2400 SPEAKERS -
MAKING AN IMPACT AT ENTRY LEVEL
New design and advanced technology give users better results and better value
with desktop, notebook and personal sound sources.
Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet, announces the brand new Creative Inspire 2.1 2400 speaker set. Sharing the advanced design foundations of the entire Creative Inspire range, the Inspire 2.1 2400 has a wooden cube-style subwoofer for added bass impact, and has been designed to give the best audio quality in its price class. Priced at only £39.99 including VAT, it is the perfect partner for any Sound Blaster card and the ideal upgrade for the user on a budget wanting to take a step up from ordinary 2-speaker systems.
Creative Inspire 2.1 2400 speakers offer far more than ordinary desktop PC speaker replacements or upgrades. Their standard stereo connectivity means that they can be used with a wide range of sources such as CD or MP3 players, notebook PCs or the Creative Jukebox. Users will be impressed by their solid, high-quality construction and performance which features a heavily reinforced wooden subwoofer capable of pumping out 12 Watts RMS of rich, clear bass. It incorporates a customised amplifier which powers all three speakers and optimises their response and output. The two 4.5-Watt RMS satellites have special drivers and shaped face plates which ensure optimum sound dispersion and precise sonic imaging. The frequency response for the system spans 42Hz to 20kHz, ensuring excellent results with music or multimedia audio.
To ensure complete flexibility in terms of layout opportunities in any environment, the satellites have been shielded to avoid interference with monitors. For armchair comfort and control, a wired remote volume control is standard.
"This high-specification, high-value system adds power to general audio content," says Leonardo Colucci, European brand manager for speakers with Creative Labs Europe. "Users will like its combination of dynamic acoustics and price; we have incorporated some very smart engineering, like the faceplate design on the satellites, that makes a big difference and gives these speakers real impact. The signal to noise ratio is greater than 75dB and that's another significant achievement at this very competitive point in the market. I'm convinced these speakers will show users just how good budget-priced speakers can be."
